And how to spot them in any niche
I have made over $250,000 from affiliate links alone, and I bring in hundreds of dollars a day from them now. I grew my LTK to 65,000 followers and tripled my own earnings there, not by posting more, but by getting strategic about which brands I link. That is exactly what this cheat sheet walks you through.
A brand is worth your time when it is strong on at least one of these. The ones you want to link most are strong on both.
How much a customer spends in one order. Furniture and big home brands mean hundreds, sometimes thousands, per cart.
The percentage you keep. A higher rate means more in your pocket on the exact same sale.
The I in ROI is your time. Your time is the investment, and linking a product takes the same few minutes no matter which brand it points to. The time you put in is fixed. What you control is the payoff, and that comes down to the brand and product you choose. A high cart value, high commission brand can pay you well even when the exact item you linked is inexpensive. So getting more back means being choosier about which brands and products you link.
Commission doesn't only come from the item you linked. Anything your follower buys after clicking, inside the cookie window, pays you. That window is a set stretch of time after the click, usually a number of hours or days depending on the platform.
Same click, five times the order. You did not have to post the sectional or even know they wanted it. This is why high cart value brands win. One click can turn into a far bigger order than the thing you actually posted.
Two days in my own analytics. Notice it has nothing to do with how many items sold, and everything to do with which brands those clicks landed on.
One Wayfair fireplace listing paid $195.51 from just 5 items sold. The whole day cleared $384.65.
Walmart washcloths sold 23 items and paid $0.28. A Target tray paid $1.08. More sales, almost no money.
Your analytics already know which brands pay you best. Here is exactly where to look on the two platforms most creators use.
